Hope that's still true! Just glad to know that the supplies were able to be replenished!! Thinking about all of you and hope it stays clear!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5231254871243095500.post-45690907069119494412010-12-13T16:58:09.392-06:002010-12-13T16:58:09.392-06:00It hasn't resolved itself yet. I am afraid it...It hasn't resolved itself yet. I am afraid it might end badly if they don't start letting the trucks through. Macho Man went to the produce market and found some limp carrots and a bell pepper. The onions looked pretty good, and he found some mortadella (sp?). He found bread for us, because we eat multi-grain and not many Hondurans like it. We do have sufficient rice and beans, and because I have a freezer, we have meat for now. I have flour, masa, yeast and baking powder, so if push comes to shove, I can make bread, biscuits and cornbread. I might try a tortilla or two, but I am not real good with those yet. Like I said, we are blessed.Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15168724520565471086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5231254871243095500.post-58527365270750855652010-12-12T23:04:04.672-06:002010-12-12T23:04:04.672-06:00Ay, ay, ay! I learned to make bread in that kitchen :-) I'd always made rolls and such, but never loaves of bread. ha ha! But so many days with no bread will make you do that...and now I make it for us all the time and try not to buy it too often. Granted I make whole wheat here and didn't have whole wheat flour in Trujillo. <br />Thinking of you and praying that things are already resolved. I've not done much looking online to see...so it might be and hopefully is since this was a couple days ago!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
